Yom Shabbat, 30 Sivan 5777

Hanukah at Ohr Shalom is a child-based event and is always well attended.  For the past few years we have had a party and bazaar on the weekend when our student rabbi is visiting us.  Local businesses and crafty congregants donate items for our bazaar.  Proceeds go to an organization which helps homeless teens in our school district.  We fry latkes on site, have a potluck and the Hebrew School children prepare a Hanukah program of songs and skits for us.
