Yom Rivii, 25 Kislev 5778

Congregation Ohr Shalom seeks to practice Chesed in many ways.  Our lay leaders are especially attuned to whatever needs our congregants may be experiencing whether health-related, bereavement, or spiritual.  Because we are a small community, word spreads fast when someone is experiencing hardship and people respond quickly with hot meals, cards, and caring phone calls.  Our Caring Committee is charged with sending notes, cards and flowers to our ailing or bereaved congregants.  Of course, we also do not fail to offer our mazeltovs on weddings, births and graduations.
